Plexiglas Sitters with Grandma and Me

Jo Myers-Walker will teach how to create a Plexiglas sitter. What is a Plexiglas sitter you might ask? Participants will sketch on paper, trace design on to Plexiglas with a paint marker, put in toaster oven to slump or bend to sit or stand and finally paint. The class is designed for an adult and child to participate together. The adult can be a grandmother, grandfather, mother or father. The adult and child will each have a Plexiglas sitter and fun memories to take home after the class.

Life Drawing Workshops

An ongoing series of informal life drawing workshops. Three hours of extended poses and rigorous instruction to take your life drawing to another level. Douglas Pendleton will help you as you draw, and also provide demos and instruction during the breaks. Topics will vary from session to session but will include composition, proportion, artistic anatomy, geometric construction, chiaroscuro and the general mechanics of drawing.
