Fatima Saeed is a Sudanese artist who uses Nubian themes in three-dimensional sculptures of leather, fabric and paper. Watercolor, fabric dye and glitter are used to enhance the designs. Her program “Coloring for Peace” with children and teens at Iowa UNA was a great success.

The Art of Found Objects

MargeDiscover how simple items from nature can become works of art. Driftwood or leaves can become her canvas. Since the ’70’s Marge has created the costumes for High School, Community Theater and Riverside Theater productions. The plays include Guys & Dolls, Bus Stop, Naughty Marietta and many more. A backdrop she made for the band, Dogs On Skis, is in Okoboji Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Now, her talents have turned toward her natural art.
